Many Opinions about Heaven by My Classmates

My classmates almost all believe that after someone dies, they are going to go to a heaven. Their opinion about a heaven; the heaven is a place as to tell in the book, The Five People You Meet in Heaven. The heaven might have no bad things, but a peaceful, comfortable, and beautiful place.

Otherwise, there are people do not believe that there is a heaven including me, but they almost all consider it if someone dies, they will birth again. Someone thinks heaven is a place by people are afraid to die.

I would not say which is correct. However, my thought might change over and over. I am really curious about heaven and a life after someone dies. If I die, I will find which is correct.

About Life After Someone Dies

Actually, I do not believe that there is a heaven. I have been believing if a human died, they will birth as another person. However, They might have no memories ex-life even though they birth again. They can be man or woman, but I think to be animal or something else is impossible. If I describe about death, I am going to describe that death is the same with sleep. We can see only a black space when we are sleeping. We will see the black space when we die, and our memories are going to get out of our brain. Then we will be new person with the spirit that he had before, but as I said, the spirit will not have memories. This is my opinion about life after someone dies.

Santa Monica Pier

I went Santa Monica Pier with our classmates. Actually, this was the 5th time going there, so I already knew what the beach is. First, I walked around the pier. There were a several rides, shops, game shop in the pier. Then, we went to 3rd street for lunch. After we had lunch, we went to the pier again. I was tired, so I started to leave first. I enjoyed it cause I spent the time with our classmates although it was not first time. I regarded as having a time with our classmates is very enthusiastic time.

Clash of The Titans

Its story is about a war between gods and humans. The general story in movie is similar to the story, Youngun's presentation. Firstly, a war happened between Zeus and Hades, thereby humans was confused and got pains, so a hero, Perseus went a place to get a power for saving humans. He killed Medusa and Kraken. Then, he got a power that Zeus gave him, so he could kill Hades and he saved humans and also Zeus. I was impressed when Perseus faught with Medusa. I enjoyed to have seen a movie Titan.

Greek Mythology

Today, I learned Greek Mythology by our presentation. I remember that I have seen Olympus Guardian on TV when I was elementary student, so I know a little Greek story. Yesterday, I occured Greek Roman story again cause I got my assignment, presentation about Greek gods. I could learn about Zeus, and other gods. Many stories connected with each stroy. I have heard Greek Roman Mythology is not a true story but a historical novel. I think the author has a very creative idea even though I do not know who wrote them.

After Hiking on Runyon Canyon Park

I went to S.M.C parking lot to meet our classmates. Actually, we still did not choose to go which place at first. We have discussed which place is more closer from S.M.C. At the end of the thoughts, we decided to go to Runyon Canyon Park. To skip the process, we could see beautiful natural, forest, and the view of the city when we arrived there. I did not know the beautiful city before I see there. Many buildings seemed to be small. It was most interest for me. I have hiked long ago, so I felt more fresh and beauty.

Los Angeles and Santa Monica have many beutiful parks. I have more interest about others park after went to the park. I will try another park at next chance.

Chuck and Karana

Chuck and Karana have many in common to overcome their loneliness. They drift on the island. The story begin from drifiting on ths island. They also have each person to love someone. Therefore, they have no choice to feel lonely. They make a friend in order to push away loneliness. Chuck has conversed with a ball, although it is not organism. Karana has a dog, Rontu as well. To have a pet, thereby they could not feel loneliness anymore.

To leave on island alone, makes people feel lonely. If I leave on which island has no people, I also feel lonely. Maybe, I might be crazy. In this way, I adore Karana and Chuck. They have a mighty force to overcome something happens.

When I Am Sick

I am too sick because I have cold. My works are too a lot to ought, so I feel more sick. I need somebody care me. However, it is America. I feel sad. To be sick alone, is very sad. I miss my parents. I want to see my parents. My parents always take care for me when I was sick, so I feel lonely. Sometimes, I would be in deep thought where is here, what am I doing here. Sometimes, I dream nightmare. I always run to somewhere, but it is hard to run as who runs in water. I am very exhausted when I woke up. I do not want to get stress anymore because of pains.

Venice Beach

Venice Beach was really simple, normal, similar Santa Monica Beach. Firstly, Venice Beach is too simple. Especially, I could not play on the beach to break view off. Secondly, Venice Beach is normal as another beach. Before I went there, I expected special, but there were only fishing guys, birds, and people. Thirdly, Venice and Santa Monica beach are alike. I occured Santa Monica Beach's coastline and sight when I went to Venice Beach. Venice Beach is very beautiful place, but it was not different from others beach.

How Our Classmates Improved

I read others' writings at the beginning through the ending in order to look into their progress. Some people improved their writing skill and grammar, but the other did not. However, I could not look how our classmates improved. Actually, they improved a little than the beginning as I could not find their progress. Maybe, the reason might be my English is not good. I think my English is terrible, so I may not find others' development. I always learn to read others' writing. To be honestly, I feel my complex for others. I do not know English words than others, but my writing also is left behind as others' writing. Therefore, not only will I improve my English as others but that also my purpose.

Wilbur and Babe

Charlotte's web and Babe both have a story about animals. The animals can talk each other in the storys. Wilbur and Babe also have special talent. Wilbur can turn over head spin and Babe is sheep pig. They also have friens to help them if they might happen. From this, Charlotte's web and Babe have similar content.

However, Charlotte's web and Babe have differences. Charlotte's web mostly considers friendship. Charlotte sacrifices his life for Wilbur. It brings deep love beyond friendship.

To Lead Presentation by Way of Good Methods.

I saw presentations that our classmates did today. To mention honestly, many friends were well done, but the rest of them, made a several fatal errors. From this, I got how to do good presentation loosely. First of all, to lead interesting presentation, is to show visual performance about each presentation. I was interested by Shion's, Erica's, Nammin's, Youngun's presentation. Second, to say as possible as easy and fun, is more interesting obviosly.

When we are doing presentation, we ought not to do mistake. First, we should not just read paragraghs. It could be to make boring presentation. Second, when we choose a topic, small and detailed scale is more better. If topic is too big, presenter has to say too a lot.

Shion's Presentation

Shion will talk about Japaness Calligraphy. Japaness Calligraphy is Japaness words to use writing brush and black ink on white paper. I did a little Japaness Calligraphy, but it was hard to write well. Calligraphy has very old history since 4505 years ago. Actually, I don't believe it. Calligraphy has three kinds of writing, Kaisho, "Correct Writing", Gyosho, "Traveling Writing", Sousho, "Grass Writing". I could learn how to write Japaness Calligraphy.

Rewriting Farmers' Market

The Farmers' Market had nothing special to except organic foods, cheap price, and kind people. The Farmers’ Market had organic foods, but it was too normal to gather a lot of people. Big Market, Target, Ralphs, Vons have many kinds of food, so people usually use them. The Farmers’ Market had lower price, but it could not make different from other shops. The reason is it is not so much different price especially, and other shops also sell many sale articles. The Farmers’ Market had kind people, thence I could talk with them, but it is not surely necessary. Shop means just selling articles. The Farmers’ Market had nothing special, but it might be good shop for some people otherwise.

The Day

The day will be coming soon! It is I will live alone. I am living with my brother, but my brother has to move out near UCLA because of business. I will get someone can live with me. I will buy necessary furniture for me. It will be fun. However I also worry how to go to school, how to use money, and how to live alone. To live alone, might be lonely, annoying, hard, but I want to try that. It is only one chance for me to live alone of my life. From now, I have to live alone and make it through whatever might happen. I will fight my-self.

Fun Party

I went to level1’s party on Wednesday. After the class, we came together, and we went to Bear’s house. Then we played soccer to make a bet prize. That was who loser team must pay for dinner. I was so good because our team won resistant the other team. After that, I could have free dinner, so we ate Korean B.B.Q. After the party, several people went home, and the rest went to song room. We sang songs in enthusiasm. Next, we were going to go each house, but I had to pick up others because I only had a car among them. I picked up others, and then came home at A.M 01:00. I was exhausted, but I did not regret about that. It was very fun for me. I hope I will get that chance once more.

Jack and Me

Jack was a boy as who does not like to write poetry, but he was more interested in poetry to write them. I often wrote poetry during my schooling. I was same as Jack did not like to write poetry at first. However, I felt my deep emotion inside my hidden heart when I wrote poetry. I have many in common with Jack in that way.

Poetry has many good effects at people. To write poetry, thereby people would grow up their sensibility, and it enables people could think deeply. Poetry is usually short as well, but it has many connotative meanings. From this people say poetry is beautiful.

Rewriting Other's Writing

The fammer's market had many beautiful fruits. It was on Santa Monica third street and Arizona blvd. I went to the farmer's market yesterday with my classmate. There were many people and shops to sell fruits and flowers. It was amazed to eat a sample of orange because it tasted fresh, juicy, and looked beautiful. However I did not buy it because if I bought the beautiful orange, I want to eat everyday. It means to spend money, and I will get fat. That was a reason why I stopped my mind. Actually, I want to eat the orange again.

The Meanings of Artist and Gentleman.

I saw Great Expectation's movie. In the movie, Pip was being an artist. From this, it brang many different meanings. I thought about the meaning of gentleman. I occured goodness, kindness, generousity at first. Then I thought the meanings were how to make different from the meanings of artist. The book has real meaning about Great Expectation. I think Great Expectation means not to come by outside things like money, honor, but inside heart and mind. Thence, gentleman is related lots of meaning with Great Expectation.

Against gentleman, artist is just dream for Pip. In my opinion, gentleman is not a job but character. However artist is a job and way to make money, so the movie is not related with Great Expectation. It makes Pip run his own way for not only his dream but also Estella.

Farmers' Market

The Farmers' Market had nothing special to except some foods. I went to a Farmer's Market on 4th and Arizona. While I was going there, I saw another Farmer's Market on 23st and Pico. When I arrived at the Farmers' Market, many our classmates were in the market. First, we looked around the street. However there were nothing special I expected before. Many fruits, nuts, and vegietables were in the market. I bought some peanuts and tasted. It was sweet and tasty. The market smelled bad. The market was just "Farmer's Market" as the name.

Los Angeles

I have been here for 8months. Actually, I am not as good at English as I am here for a long time. I try to study everyday thence. My life in Los Angeles is not so good because I don’t go any special places in Los Angeles. The reason is I don’t have many friends here as well as laziness. I want to go to famous places in L.A.

I have ever heard that Los Angeles means the angels of the city by someone. However no matter how I see anywhere, there were no angels in L.A. Los Angeles is very famous in Korea. Many Korean want to come in L.A. English is a strong in Korea. I live in Korea-town. Los Angeles is very beautiful city to except Korea-town. Korea-town people usually say it seems Korean 1970~1980 age. I hate Korea-town’s structures.

Love Pets

I read a several poems in a book, was Love That Dog. The only one poem inspired me. The poem was Love That Boy by Walter Dean Myers. First, I was interested in its title because the title was very similar as the book's title. I read a little bunch of pages in the book. The main character, Jack always copied another poems just changing his own words. Thence, I could guess what he wrote in "Love That Dog".

If which people have a pet, they can not bring up their pet without love. I have a pet as well. I really love my dog as Jack love his dog. Not only do I miss but also want to see my dog.

In my opinion, pet has very important meaning that human's life. Pet give hapiness, hope, longing, and also to include sadness for people. To grow pet, is same amount to grow love.

Teach to Practice Driving

Today, I taught driving a car for Sunmin. Sunmin wanted to drive a car. So I went to Sunmin's house because there was no car and best place to practice driving. First, I explained basic function of car and how to use gas pedal, brake pedal. Then we started driving. We turned a neighborhood village. Sunmin was awkward at driving, but first driving even though he could do well.

Mexican Restaurant

Yesterday, I went to Mexican restaurant with friend on Hoover and Olympic. The restaurant name was El Taurino. There were lots of menu, but I thought the best menu was taco and burrito. I have heard taco and burrito were best food of many Mexican foods. I have never eaten them, but I tried. First, I ordered taco and burrito with coke. It tasted light and a little spicy. It was very delicious not to mention made me fulled.

I felt Mexican food was so good. If I have a next chance, I want to go with my family. It is not enough to taste only me, and I will go to another restaurants on weekend. At next time, I want to try Thai foods. I have heard a restaurant good at Thai foods on Westwood blvd.

Bad at Grammar

Today, I studied English grammar in Susan's blog. I have been believing my grammar was good, but my reality was not like that. I solved some quizzes about prepositions: at, in and on. At first, I was confidence at those quizzes. During doing the quizzes, I made a lot of mistake. As time passes, there were same quizzes. But I was confused. As a result, I solved the answers just 60% correctly. From this, I made a decision to study grammar in enthusiasm. I will study grammar 1 hour of a day.

Difference Les Miserables Movie and Book

Les Miserables's movie was little different from the book. There was a several difference between the movie and the book. Among them, I considered a relationship of Jean Valjean and Javert most important difference. In the book, Javert had seen Jean Valjean first when Jean Valjean was a mayor. In the movie, Jean Valjean was Javert's prisoner before mayor. When Jean Valjean was trying to save Fauchelevent, Javert suspected the mayor might be Jean Valjean. An addition, Jean Valjean gave some money and job for Fauchelevent in the movie. But in the book, Jean Valjean gave only gardener. Moreover, Jean Valjean helped no hesitation for Fauchelevent in the movie. In the book, Jean Valjean offered his money to help at first.

Actually, I didn't watch whole the movie. It was interesting let alone more detail than the book.

Origami

Today, I saw Origami. I have heard that means folding a paper to make something. However as long as I was watching about Origami, I didn't understand almost heard. But I could know a little what was going on to show on TV. The surprising was there was mathematics's records. To unford a folding paper, one standard strait line has left side and right side. The left side seemed same as right side. It was surprised.

Summury of Les Miserables

Les Miserables was written by Victor Hugo, is about how did the main character Jean Valjean overcome whatever might happen after while he had been spent nineteen years in jail that he stole a loaf of bread in nineteen centuries France. Then he found a bishop’s house, was the one of houses he could sleep while he was finding inn in the town of Digne in order to sleep. His soul was sold to the bishop because he stole bishop’s silver. After that, he became a mayor and he helped Javert’s prisoner which woman was Fantine. One day, Jean Valjean had heard which man had been getting to suspect instead of him, so he told he was Jean Valjean. Jean Valjean bought Cosette lots of money by Thenadier, after he lived a new life with Cosette in Paris. But there was Javert, so they ran away. Cosette joined the convent and had met Marius. Next, Jean Valjean was trapped by Thenadier, but he escaped. Cosette and Marius fell in love not only him but also her. There was French revolution in 1832. Jean Valjean saved Marius in order to bring him for Cosette, and Javert died. Finally, Jean Valjean died as well. The theme in the story is anyone could not live completely as good as in law, but people have to live honestly as Jean Valjean did.

Jean Valjean's and My Lives.

I read a song "Who Am I?". I didn't understant whole sentences surely. The song seems to be before the court, he sang. At that moment, Jean Valjean looked as he have a big trouble. To summarize, Jean Valjean was thinking to make him-self, is Jean Valjean or is not. Finally, he told the truth and became a prisoner again.

I have in common with Jean Valjean to live each life. In the past, I wanted to be a generous man getting reception when would I go anywhere by everyone. Actually, I would help others how could I do the maximum. To be honest, it was really hard. Sometimes, I didn't see to be true for others. I will become as Jean Valjean did, and I do my best. It is generous and gentle man.

After Have Seen a Movie

On friday, I met with my classmates to watch movie. The name was "Cop Out". It began to appear two comic cops. The two cops had lots of problems in the police office. Its full-scale story started from while the two men was doing their works. A man of the two cops, was stole his baseball picture by a gang. The picture was considered to be important for him, so the two cops went wherever to find the criminal. Finally, they caught the gang, and got the baseball picture. The picture was useful to marry for his daughter, and it concluded through happy ending.

To watch this movie was so good for me. Actually, I did not understand well done, but I was trying to understand as soon as I can. By the movie, I learn really slangs and actual English skills. It was fun! I could be spent a enthusiastic time.

The Differences between the Book and the Movie

Tom Sawyer's movie was a little different from the book. The first difference was the progressing structure of story was different, which is story begins from Doc Robinson and Joe have talked about their deal in the movie. But the book was not same with the movie. In the movie, Injun Joe fell into a hole, and then he was dead. To except those differences, there were another a tiny differences.

The second difference was the book told about Tom's dream and friendship, also Aunt Polly and Tom loved each other to inculde Becky. But the movie was different. The movie told a little their love than the book. In the movie, has shown almost about Tom's adventure and Injun Joe's treasure. There was no situations that when did Tom have done to leave the adventure, Aunt Polly really miss him, and Tom has written a piece of bark what would he wants to tell about his adventure.

The most important difference was Huck took possession of the story in the movie. Huck was very important character as Tom. Tom was placed a enormous danger in the cave because of Joe, Huck saved Tom from the danger in the movie. In the book, Huck didn't appeared in the cave. An addition, he was being brave and usual boy in the movie. He decided to go to school and to live with Widow Douglas.

In my opinion, I have gotten more understood from the movie. If will I have a chance to see another movies, it will be fun either for me.

Summary of Tom Sawyer

Tom Sawyer is a brave boy in the book. He helped Potter that Potter seems to be doubt in the town. He told the truth even if Injun Joe would try to kill him. From that reason, Tom could be a hero in the town, and townpeople would be to love him.

About Tom Sawyer

"The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" is about telling which children's dream, and it wrote by Mark Twain. The beginning of the book talks that who is Tom and his relationship. The middle of the book tells who readers that how did Tom changed and overcame when he got like what problems as well as Tom's dream and love story. The ending is Tom became a hero in the town because he had done lots of good works, and it concluded through a happy ending as well.

When I Was Doing Homework

Today, I have to do read a book, is homework. The Title is "Les Miserables". I think that someone who has a difficult with something to overcome is really hard. I did not live my life as Jean ValJean did. From this, I think he is being more respectable. He could make it through whatever might happen. To meet Bishop was a turning of his life as he did not have any different to other beggar.

The point that I was inspired that can overcome whatever may happen. I felt that I will try to do any situations appear for me, even it seems to be impossible. By read this book, I felt I want to solve the problems with a big stress. But I think there will be a happy time when I solve the problems myself as Jean Val Jean did.

My Vision

I have read last level2esl students' writing and several blogs. Those students were good at grammar, and writing skills were pretty good. They had grown English ability more than the beginning. I was a little surprised to look their development. I have felt more to study in enthusiasm.

Actually I was not socialized with students during the schooling. From this, I felt it is necessary to be more socialized in order to make real friends.

In this semester, I am going to grow up my English skills. Not will I only learn English, but I will also improve writing skills and grammar. I really want to be good at English. After all of that, I will pass this semester!
